The style of the cabinets that you choose will determine the “feel” of your new kitchen or bathroom. We offer an array of selections to achieve every desired effect. Below are a few of the general cabinet styles to be considered when defining the theme of a room.
Contemporary:
- Clean and simple lines
- Frameless panels
- Lighter woods
- Subtle grains such as birch and maple or laminate
Traditional/Formal:
- Square cabinets
- More ornate molding and detail
- Raised panels
- Rich and darker wood species such as cherry, walnut, and mahogany
Country:
- Square cabinet designs with some curves
- More pronounced wood grains
- Glazed, pickled or painted finishes
- Can include molding and beadboard
- Framed cabinets with raised or recessed panels
Casual:
- Simple details and clean lines
- Lighter woods and matte surfaces
- Can include varying wood species and finishes
- Whimsical and interesting accents
Transitional
- Incorporates a traditional and contemporary style Mixed materials, finishes, and textures
- Varying elements give a feeling of old charm and new elegance
- Some molding, but lack of heavy ornamentation
